About Us
Welcome to gramstocups.online!
Have you ever tried to follow a recipe from another country and gotten confused because it uses grams, but your measuring cups only show cups? We built this website to fix that problem.
Why We Made This Website
Cooking should be fun, not confusing! Some recipes (especially from Europe) use grams to measure ingredients. Other recipes (especially from the USA) use cups. If you don’t convert the numbers correctly, your cake might not turn out right.
That’s why we made a simple, free tool that changes grams into cups and cups back into grams in just one click.
What You Can Do On Our Website
- Simple Converter – Pick an ingredient, type in the amount, and see the answer right away.
- Batch Converter – Convert several ingredients at once, instead of one at a time.
- Recipe Parser – Paste your whole recipe in, and we’ll convert all the gram amounts into cups for you.
- Reference Charts – Look up common ingredients and amounts without typing anything.
- Works Both Ways – Grams to cups, or cups to grams whichever you need.
How We Get Our Numbers
We don’t guess! Every ingredient on our site is based on trusted cooking sources like USDA FoodData Central, King Arthur Baking, and the FAO food density database.
Keep in mind: real life isn’t perfect. Things like the ingredient’s brand, the weather, and how you scoop your flour can slightly change the result. So please treat our numbers as a very close estimate a big help, but not a lab-perfect measurement.
Our Goal
We want every home cook, student, and baker to feel confident in the kitchen, no matter what country their recipe comes from. Happy baking!
